Winston-Salem wedding videographer filming a couple on their wedding day

WINSTON-SALEM WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER

Winston-Salem is one of our two homes; the coast in Wilmington is the other. We're a husband-and-wife team filming a limited number of weddings each year, divided between here and the coast.

"There are so many things you miss or forget on the day of the wedding. They captured every single special moment and detail of our day. We get to relive it over and over and over again."

"It is one year after our wedding and my wife and I are still watching the video; we watch it at least once a month. If you have the chance to hire them, do it!!!"

WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY IN WINSTON-SALEM

We live here, so a Winston-Salem wedding usually means sleeping in our own beds the night before. We've filmed at Graylyn Estate, and the rest of the city gives us plenty to point a camera at: the old Moravian brick of Old Salem, the gardens at Reynolda, the tobacco-warehouse bones of the Innovation Quarter, downtown spots in the Arts District. Farther out you've got Tanglewood Park, Körner's Folly over in Kernersville, and barn and farm properties toward Clemmons and Summerfield.

Home base also means no travel fees anywhere in the Triad: Greensboro, High Point, Kernersville, Clemmons, all of it. The mountains are an easy drive west from here too, so if you're thinking about a Blue Ridge Parkway elopement, we film those as well. If your wedding is anywhere nearby, we'd love to hear about it.

WHY HEARTLINE FILMS

Documentary style

We skip the shot list entirely. Nobody poses you through your own wedding; we watch, anticipate, and film what actually happens. The finished film should feel the way the day felt.

Husband-and-wife team

Heartline is the two of us, Kevin and Haley: married, filming weddings side by side, and prone to getting attached to the couples we work with. Nobody else shows up in our place; it's us, every time.

Super 8mm film

The grain in our films is real: Kodak stock, a vintage Super 8 camera, film developed at a lab. Very few videographers in North Carolina shoot it for real; we're one of them.

A limited calendar

We'd rather do fewer weddings well. A small calendar means unhurried edits, films that aren't formula, and enough time to actually know you two before we show up.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are you actually based in Winston-Salem?
Yes. Winston-Salem is one of our two home bases (the other is Wilmington), so we know the Triad well and there are no travel fees for weddings in the area.
Do you cover the rest of the Triad?
We do — Greensboro, High Point, Kernersville, Clemmons, Lewisville and the surrounding area are all part of our home market, with no travel fees. We've filmed at estate venues, downtown spaces, and barn properties across the Triad.
How much does a Winston-Salem wedding videographer cost?
Our packages run $4,000 to $7,500. The Feature ($4,000) is one filmmaker with a highlight film plus full ceremony and speeches edits. The Director's Cut ($6,500) adds a second filmmaker, drone, and Super 8mm. The Reel ($7,500) is shot entirely on Super 8. A 30% retainer saves your date, with monthly payments after.
When should I book for a Winston-Salem wedding?
The sweet spot is 12 to 18 months out. We hold a limited number of weddings each year statewide, and Triad dates fill alongside our Wilmington bookings; peak months go first.

REAL SUPER 8MM FILM

The camera is a vintage Super 8 and the stock is real Kodak; the look is the one you know from old family movies. Warm, grainy, a little imperfect, and none of it comes from a filter.

You get it with The Director's Cut; The Reel goes all in and shoots the entire day on film.

We live here in Winston-Salem (and in Wilmington). Triad weddings never come with a travel fee.

Let's talk about your Winston-Salem wedding.

There are only so many dates on our calendar each year, and the Triad ones share it with the Wilmington ones. 2026 peak season is filling up, and 2027 is open. If you're getting married in Winston-Salem or anywhere nearby, send us your date and we'll tell you straight whether it's free.
