Every roll of Super 8 holds about three minutes. Once you're in The Director's Cut, you can load more of them. Digital keeps rolling underneath the whole time, so nothing about your ceremony or your toasts rides on a single cartridge.

We take only a limited number of weddings each year to make sure every couple gets our full attention. Most couples book 12+ months in advance, but we also understand that sometimes you realize late in the planning process that video is a must-have. Here's what's available:

The Short ($2,950) is six hours with one filmmaker, a 3–4 minute highlight film, and ceremony and vows audio. The Feature ($4,400) is full-day coverage with one filmmaker, a 5–8 minute highlight film, and a full standalone ceremony edit. The Director's Cut ($6,500) adds both of us filming, drone footage, a full speeches and toasts edit, and two rolls of authentic Super 8mm film. All three include 4K cameras, multi-source audio, professional editing and color grading, and free revisions. From The Director's Cut you can load more film: six rolls for $7,500, or ten rolls as The Reel for $8,500.

The Feature and The Director's Cut have no clock at all. We arrive when you need us for getting ready and stay through the reception. The Short is a set six hours and you choose where they sit. Before your day we map that window against your timeline, so a six-hour package that stops short of your exit gets caught in planning. Extra hours on The Short are $400 each, arranged in advance.
Our Super 8mm footage is shot on a real vintage camera using genuine Kodak film stock. The film is processed at a specialty lab and professionally scanned. Digital filters try to mimic the look, but they can't replicate the organic grain, natural light leaks, and warm color palette of real film. It's the difference between a reproduction and the real thing.
Highlight films are delivered within 14-16 weeks after your wedding date. Ceremony and speeches edits follow shortly after. If your package includes Super 8mm film, add about 4-5 weeks for lab processing. We take the time to craft each film carefully. No cookie-cutter edits.
Yes. Rehearsal dinner coverage is $600 an hour with a two hour minimum. It's worth thinking about if you have people flying in who won't all be in one room again.
Yes. We're based in Wilmington and Winston-Salem, and travel is included for most of North Carolina: Raleigh, Durham, Charlotte, the Triad, and the Crystal Coast. Asheville, Boone and the High Country, and the Outer Banks sit far enough out that we quote travel per wedding, and it's on your quote before you book. We also film destination weddings nationwide.
