"It is one year after our wedding and my wife and I are still watching the video; we watch it at least once a month. If you have the chance to hire them, do it!!!"

WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY IN CHARLOTTE

Charlotte weddings tend to run bigger and a notch more polished than what we see on the coast. Guest counts around 200, more formal receptions, and venues that match. We've filmed at Alexander Homestead, VanLandingham Estate, and Circle M Farm out near Lincolnton. The Uptown skyline and the historic estate properties in the area both look great on video, and these bigger weddings are where having two filmmakers (our Director's Cut package) really pays off. More guests, more moments happening at once, more to cover.

Travel to Charlotte is included in both packages. If you're getting married in Charlotte, the surrounding metro, or anywhere in the area, we'd love to hear what you're planning.

WHY HEARTLINE FILMS

Documentary style

We don't do shot lists or staged moments. We follow your day as it unfolds and find the story in it. What you get back feels like your wedding, not a production.

Husband-and-wife team

We're Kevin and Haley. We film weddings together, and we genuinely care about the people we work with. You're not getting a random crew. You're getting us.

Super 8mm film

We shoot on a real vintage Super 8 camera with Kodak film stock. Not a filter, not a preset. One of the few videographers in North Carolina who offer this.

20 weddings per year

We cap our calendar so every couple gets our full attention. That means no rushed edits, no cookie-cutter films, and time to actually get to know you before your day.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is travel to Charlotte included in your pricing?
Yes. Both packages include travel to Charlotte at no extra cost.
Do you film larger weddings (200+ guests)?
We do, and Charlotte is where we see the most of them. For weddings over 150 guests, we'd recommend The Director's Cut package, which includes two filmmakers. That second camera means we can cover the dance floor and the cocktail conversations at the same time, or get a wide ceremony shot while the other camera is close on reactions. It makes a real difference when there's a lot happening at once.
How much does a Charlotte wedding videographer cost?
The Feature starts at $3,295 (one filmmaker, highlight film). The Director's Cut is $5,295 (two filmmakers, full ceremony, speeches, drone, Super 8mm film). Monthly payments available after a $1,500 retainer.
When should I book for a Charlotte wedding?
12-18 months out is ideal. We take 20 weddings a year across all of North Carolina, and Charlotte dates compete with our Wilmington calendar. Peak season fills fast.

REAL SUPER 8MM FILM

We shoot on a vintage Super 8 camera with Kodak film stock; the same format home movies were shot on for decades. It's warm, textured, and looks nothing like a digital filter.

Included in The Director's Cut.
